Quilted Diaper Bags!

Woo-hoo! I looooove the new quilted diaper bag I just made for myself. Since many of my friends have been inquiring about this bag I've decided to make them for sale. I will be posting different ones to my website over the next few days and weeks so, if you're interested... stay tuned!

The bag measures about 18" x 16" and has a velcro tab closure that was embellished with a button on the closure flap. It is completely free-motion machine quilted and very sturdy!

Bubble Gum Blocks baby quilt

Everyone around me is getting pregnant. I'm sure it has to do with me being 26 years old and all my friends are in the same age range. However, no one told me how many baby gifts I would be making in such a short period of time.. and hello!!! I have a 3 month-old baby myself! Luckily, I loooove to sew & quilt especially baby stuff!

So here is my latest Crafty Gemini creation! A baby quilt for a friend's baby shower. She is having a little girl and the nursery theme is underwater/aquarium animals. I found this backing fabric and completely fell in love! It matches the theme to the T and it's feminine at the same time. phew! Joann's to the rescue, yet again.

I free-hand quilted sea anemones in the center of the main blocks and then swirls up and down the bordering strips. I am very pleased with the way it came out.

My new craft projects---> SCRAPBOOKING ALBUMS

My DH recently bought me a Cricut Create! I have watched the paid commercial for the Cricut Expressions a million times but $500 to spend on a cutting machine is definitely not in our budget! So, I settled for a more compact version of the Expression called the Cricut Create and boy do I love it! I literally use it everyday! I have made some of the cutest accordion photo albums for my in-laws and even for my DH. He was excited to take it to his office today and put it on his desk.

These are some of my latest projects... cool, eh?
