This week brings a new video tutorial and a fabulous GIVEAWAY!
In this video post I show you how to make this easy little baby burp cloth out of flannel and quilting cotton fabrics. The fun part is I also show you how to make your own single fold bias tape out of fabric and I use Simplicity Bias Tape Maker
machine to save me time and any burning of my fingers!
I like to make my own bias tape because its a lot more fun than buying the boring solid colored ones at the store. It allows you to really customize your projects.
A big thanks to Simplicity for providing the goodies for this week's giveaway!
One lucky winner will receive the items pictured below: One
Simplicity Bias Tape Maker
, a 1/4" single fold tip (for use with the machine), a 1 1/4" Quilting Binding tip (for use with the machine), and a Bias Tip Insertion Tool (for use with 1/8" and 1/4" bias strips).

ReplyDeleteMy problem is not making the bias tape/binding. It's sewing it on nicely. I simply cannot seem to sew a consistently placed seam on curves.
